FLEXIBLE MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY

A Keypad with a flexible tail with or without a connector as per design and application. The keys are mounted on multi layers of punched flexible polymer sheets (typically polyester) sandwiched together. Circuits are silk-screened with conductive silver ink on both the top and bottom membrane layers. Low cost, reliable keypads, alternative Key-life exceeds 2 - 5 million keystrokes, also Lighter than a rigid PCB. Flexible circuits allow product forms which is not possible with a rigid PCB. Rim & Pillow type Key Emboss available by request. Male Female clincher connectors can be fitted when requested.

     Rigid PCB MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY

PCBs, allow for greater design flexibility than a flexible membrane switch. Standard thickness of bare PCB range from 1 mm to 3.2 mm and the board can be single-sided, double sided or multi layer. A PCB allows components to be soldered directly to the board. It also provides a wider choice of connector or cable assembly types, as well as more connector locations, depending on the complexity of the design. In built Mounting screw can be used for fixing LCD, Display PCB & keyboards. Mainly used for Textile Industries, Industrial Automation & Control Panels. It eliminates backing plate.

    Graphic Overlays; Labels; Decals; 

Screen printed Top layer of Membrane keypad known as a Graphic layer. Material can be used Polycarbonate/Polyester with matt/ gloss finish as per customer requirement Graphic layer is an integral part of a membrane switch, which gives locations of switches, window, LEDs, printing matters with logo & title of Instruments. Screen-printing colored inks on basic material creates graphic images. Once printed and cut to size & shape, this layer becomes the Graphic Overlay. It's color combination & layout gives finishing touch to the product.
